What internships are possible?
University semester internship
- Internship semester in the winter or summer semester in accordance with university guidelines
- After acquiring basic knowledge you will usually work on a project that is highly relevant to practical situations
- Support from an internship supervisor
- Market-oriented pay
Voluntary internship of up to three months
- Can be started throughout the year
- Integration within the team, completing your own tasks

Technical and commercial pre-study internship
- Internship for admission to a university course
- Only possible from May to August each year

Your application
If you are interested in an internship with Handtmann online applications are preferred in response to the appropriate job advertisement or a speculative application.
We should receive your application approx. five to six months before you would like to start the internship.
Deadlines for university semester internships:
- by the end of April for the winter semester of the same year
- by the end of October for the summer semester of the following year

We should receive your application approx. five to six months before the start of the internship.
We are also happy to receive applications throughout the year.
You will receive an automatic confirmation of receipt immediately after you have sent your application. You will therefore know that your documentation has definitely reached Handtmann.
The applications are then usually submitted to several departments. Therefore it may take a few weeks before you receive a reply. Thank you for your understanding. Even if it may take some time to consider your application, this on no account reflects on your chances of being accepted for the position.
If your application and the requirements of a department match, we will invite you for a personal interview. This is usually with representatives of the department and the Human Resources department.
You will receive a written response to the success of your application in the weeks after the interview. If your application is confirmed, we will draft your employment contract and invite you to come and sign the contract.
We ask for your patience. There may be several applicants and a decision can only be reached once all the interviews are complete.
Of course you can apply again after an unsuccessful application. It is quite possible that a suitable internship will be available at a later date. We look forward to receiving your application.
