Successful EAC certification for the Handtmann Armaturenfabrik

Export to Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan will further be ensured

In November 2017 the Handtmann Armaturenfabrik was host of two EAC (Eurasian Customs Union) auditors from Russia, and successfully passed the new EAC certification process.

The EAC certificate is valid for Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. Included were two regulations which are similar to the Machinery Directive and the European Pressure Directive.  Comprehensible procedures could be proved for the receipt of goods, the mechanical production, the welding department, the assembly department and the quality control. The basis for this was the DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 certification.

The successful certification enables the Armaturenfabrik further sales of their product portfolio to the countries that are part of the customs union.  It ensures the customers the compliance with the strict safety and quality regulations that EAC-certified products are subject to.
