The new DS 552 depositing system
For the first time at the Digital Handtmann Food Tec
From 3rd May 2021, Handtmann will be presenting the newly developed DS 552-1 depositing system to visitors of the Digital Handtmann Food Tec. It offers direct, multi-lane dosing of products from the meat, bakery, vegetarian and vegan, dairy, confectionery, fish and pet food food sectors, and many more. A continuous, high-performance process for the industrial production into trays and thermo-forming packagings or onto dough sheet systems.
The automatic dosing process runs flexibly on 2 to 24 lanes and allows a production output of up to 200 cycles per minute. The innovative dosing principle with return suction - without any filling pistons and valves - can dose fluid to semi-viscous filling products with precision and process reliability. Spreads, delicatessen salads, pesto, creams and fillings, liver sausage, smoked sausage spread, pies, cream cheese, herb butter, dips, ready meals and more are dosed in countless variations with to-the-gram accuracy and in first-class quality. A large selection of dosing nozzles further extends the wide range of products. The patented, servo-driven flow divider in the depositing system ensures a constant product flow without pressure fluctuations, resulting in most accurate weights in every single lane. This accurate-to-the-gram portioning with exact weights per lane and portion cuts production costs. With its valve-free dosing principle without filling pistons, the new depositing system, at the same time, ensures maximum production reliability. Excellent hygiene conditions are guaranteed thanks to the modern hygienic design.
